There is plenty of open, level, camping area available for campers, motor homes and tents. The camping area is convenient to the stage and the grounds will be open starting on Wednesday for those wanting to jam, socialize, and/or explore the nearby Laurel Highlands attractions. The grounds close Sunday evening. Sorry, no electric hookups, but fire rings and fire wood are available. Handicap accessible parking and porta-johns are available.
Pets (under control) are welcome, but not in the concert area. Likewise, alcohol (under control) and smoking are permitted, but not in the concert area. Drugs and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This is a family festival and security will be present to keep it that way. Violators will be removed from the festival, without refund.
Plenty of "day parking" is also available for those who just wish to attend for a single day and not camp. The concert area and dining hall are handicap accessible.
Local lodging is also available at:
- Antiochian Village Camp & Conference Center, Rt.
711, north of Ligonier (724) 238-3677
[Be sure to request the Village's "festival pricing" when booking a room.]
- Ligonier Country Inn, Rt. 30, Laughlintown (724) 238-3651
- Ramada Inn, Ligonier (724) 238-9545
Tickets for the weekend are still only $25 in advance (until June 15th) and $30 at the gate. Friday evening only is $15 at the gate and Saturday's all-day concert is $25. Kids under 10 are admitted free. For fans who can't attend all day on Saturday, we're now providing special evening pricing after the supper break. While you may miss all the great afternoon music and activities, a gate price of $15 still provides an opportunity for an evening of incredible music.
There's no charge for attending Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, but donations to help the firemen are always welcome. Advance tickets are available in our Online Ticket Store, and are also available at these local businesses:
- Ligonier Chamber of Commerce, Town
Hall, Ligonier, PA (724-238-4200)
- Watkins Market, Rt. 271, Waterford, PA (724-238-9714)
- Giant Eagle, Walnut Street and Route 30, Ligonier, PA
And remember, your weekend ticket price includes free camping!
Back by popular demand! The crafts and vendors show runs from noon to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday adjacent to the concert area. Lots of quality vendors will be on hand with a variety of handcrafted items to browse and purchase.
Craft vendors who would like to join the festivities can contact Mitzi Neiderhiser (724-238-8646) for an application and further details. Reserved spaces will be in multiples of 10'x10', with a June 13th reservation cutoff date.
Saturday's breakfast buffet is served from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. As always, food and drinks are available both Friday and Saturday. The Firmen's Fabulous Fish Dinner will be on Friday evening. The spaghetti dinner will be on Thursday and will be available to both the festival campers and folks who wanted to check out the festival and get a taste of some "parking lot pickin'."
Bring your lawn chair or blanket to the concert area. The stage is under cover and there are some audience canopies in case of inclement weather.
Most of the bands will be selling CDs, T-shirts, and other wares and the firemen will offer our ever-popular "Fired Up For Bluegrass" T-shirts.
The firemen DO appreciate your support and hope this festival will continue for years to come. Comments, suggestions, questions and concerns are always welcome.
